Jensen
Jensen was a British car brand best remembered for hand-built grand tourers that paired European styling with powerful American engines. Based in West Bromwich, the company produced distinctive models including the 541, C-V8, Jensen-Healey, and Interceptor. The Chrysler V8-powered Interceptor became its signature car, combining a spacious four-seat cabin with strong straight-line performance and a practical hatchback body. Jensen also introduced the FF, an advanced grand tourer featuring four-wheel drive and an early anti-lock braking system. Original vehicle production ended in 1976, followed by several unsuccessful revival attempts. The name is now being renewed through the limited-production Interceptor GTX, a modern V8 grand tourer developed with an aluminum chassis and hand-formed bodywork.
