Venturi
Venturi cars hold a distinctive place in French automotive history, combining low-volume production with mid-engine sports car engineering. Early models used turbocharged PRV V6 engines, rear-wheel drive, and compact two-seat layouts, giving Venturi a credible alternative to established European performance brands. The company later moved to Monaco and shifted its focus toward electric mobility, introducing the Fétish as an early production electric sports car. Venturi’s approach has always favored technical experimentation over mass-market volume, with projects spanning road cars, Formula E competition, electric speed records, and specialized zero-emission vehicles. Today, the Venturi name is associated more with advanced electric engineering than conventional automobile production.
