The Dacia Bigster TCe 140 takes a practical C-SUV formula and adds a more efficient mild-hybrid approach without moving away from straightforward everyday usability. Its 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder produces 140 PS, with 230 Nm available from 2,100 rpm, giving the front-wheel-drive SUV a useful balance between relaxed cruising and responsive acceleration. A 6-speed manual transmission keeps the powertrain conventional, while the 48V mild-hybrid system assists the engine during key driving phases.
Space is a major part of the Bigster's appeal. Five seats and up to 1,977 liters of cargo capacity give it the versatility expected from a family-oriented SUV, while the 1,350-kg kerb weight helps keep the overall package relatively manageable. With a 180 km/h top speed and 0–100 km/h in 9.8 seconds, the TCe 140 is designed more around practical daily driving than outright performance. Its 215/65 R17 tyres, MacPherson front suspension and torsion-beam rear setup complete a simple, functional chassis package.
