The 2025–2026 MG IM5 uses a dual-motor electric powertrain producing 741 hp and 592 lb-ft of torque. A direct-drive transmission sends power to all four wheels, enabling 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and 0–62 mph in 3.2 seconds. Top speed reaches 166 mph, while the 96.5 kWh net battery provides a listed range of 356 miles. With seating for five and 16.1–45.6 cubic feet of luggage space, the IM5 combines impressive performance with the practicality of an everyday electric sedan.
