The SEAT Alhambra SE 2.0i 115 was designed around the needs of families who wanted generous interior space without moving to a large commercial-style van. Its tall roof, broad side profile, and five-door layout made access practical, while the flexible cabin could accommodate passengers or provide extra room for luggage. As one of SEAT’s early entries into the people-carrier market, the Alhambra emphasized everyday usefulness over sporty styling, offering a straightforward design suited to school runs, family holidays, and longer journeys.
For 1996–2000, the SE 2.0i 115 used a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 113 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive provided a conventional, practical setup for daily travel. With seating for up to seven and a listed top speed of 110 mph, it balanced family-friendly versatility with adequate performance for routine driving.
