The Noble M12 GTO-3R takes a distinctly focused approach to British supercar performance, favouring lightweight construction and mechanical precision over luxury-car excess. Its low nose, compact cockpit and sculpted bodywork give it a purposeful silhouette, while the rear-mid-engine layout reflects its track-inspired engineering. Developed as a more refined evolution of the M12 GTO, the GTO-3R introduced a six-speed gearbox and a package designed to make its considerable power more accessible to committed drivers. There is little visual or mechanical extravagance for its own sake; the car’s appeal comes from its balance, direct controls and ability to deliver serious speed without the bulk of a traditional grand tourer. It remains a distinctive choice for enthusiasts drawn to rare, driver-centred performance cars.
Produced from 2004 to 2006, the GTO-3R uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 producing 352 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels, helping the two-seat coupé accelerate from 0–60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 170 mph. Its double-wishbone suspension at both ends supports the focused chassis setup.
