The Rossion Q1 emerged from a desire to create an American-built sports car that combined exotic performance with a lightweight, driver-focused design. Developed by Rossion Automotive using the foundations of the Noble M400, it features a low-slung coupé body, compact proportions and a rear-mid-engine layout that prioritises balance and responsiveness. Its purposeful exterior avoids unnecessary luxury styling, while the two-seat cockpit keeps the driving experience at the centre of the design. With its close connection to British sports-car engineering and limited-production character, the Q1 offers an unusual alternative to more established supercar names.
Produced from 2008 to 2018, the Q1 uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 450 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels, while double-wishbone suspension at both ends supports precise handling. With a reported 0–60 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 185 mph, it delivers serious performance in a relatively lightweight package weighing approximately 2,388 pounds. Its combination of turbocharged power, rear-mid-engine balance and analogue driving character defines the appeal of this distinctive American sports coupé.
