Dallara approached the road car from the opposite direction to most manufacturers: start with a competition-minded carbon-fibre structure, keep the mass exceptionally low, and build everything else around driver involvement. The Stradale pairs a mid-mounted 2.3-liter Ford EcoBoost turbo four-cylinder with rear-wheel drive, producing 395 bhp at 6,200 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual is standard, while an automated six-speed transmission is available, giving the lightweight two-seater a distinctly motorsport-inspired character.
In 2017–2026, the Stradale became Dallara’s expression of what a road-legal sports car could be when aerodynamic efficiency and chassis response take priority over conventional luxury. Its double-wishbone suspension, ventilated disc brakes and 174-mph top speed support a 3.2-second 0–60 mph run, while the open cockpit keeps the driver unusually close to the mechanical experience. With its sculptural bodywork and carbon-fibre construction, the Stradale feels less like a conventional supercar and more like a racing prototype adapted for the road.
