The Škoda Citigoᵉ iV marked a turning point for the Czech manufacturer, bringing its first fully electric production car into the small-city-car segment. Its compact five-door body, upright cabin and short overhangs make it well suited to crowded streets and tight parking spaces, while the electric powertrain gives it a quieter, smoother character than the petrol-powered Citigo. Instead of trying to serve as a long-distance touring car, the Citigoᵉ iV focuses on efficient urban mobility, with enough cabin versatility for everyday errands and regular commuting.
Introduced for 2019–2020, the Citigoᵉ iV uses a 61 kW electric motor producing 82 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the front wheels through a single-speed transmission. Its 36.8 kWh battery supports a practical electric driving range, while the four-seat cabin and 8.8–32.6 cubic feet of luggage space help it remain useful beyond short city trips.
