The Ultima RS LT4 combines Chevrolet’s supercharged small-block V8 with a lightweight, mid-engined chassis designed to make serious performance accessible through a relatively simple mechanical package. Its revised bodywork brings a more developed aerodynamic profile than the earlier Evolution, while the rear-mid-engine layout, rear-wheel drive and Porsche-sourced manual transaxle preserve the marque’s distinctly driver-focused character. Double-wishbone suspension and lightweight 19-inch wheels complete a setup intended for both road use and demanding track driving.
Introduced in 2019, the LT4-powered RS produces 650 hp and 650 lb·ft from its 6.2-litre V8. Ultima quotes a 2.5-second 0–60 mph time, a 5.2-second run to 100 mph and a gearing-limited top speed of more than 210 mph. Its two-seat configuration and 2,050-pound listed weight underline the performance advantage of keeping the package exceptionally light.
