2021–2026 BYD Tang AWD Specs & Performance

The Tang brought BYD’s Blade Battery technology into a large family SUV while pairing it with a dual-motor electric AWD system. Its front and rear permanent-magnet motors deliver a combined 380 kW, giving the seven-seat SUV the ability to reach 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds. An 86.4 kWh LFP battery and 110 kW DC charging capability make the powertrain as much about usable electric range as outright acceleration, with the European specification rated for 400 km of WLTP range.

For 2021–2026, the Tang combines substantial passenger capacity with a 2,489 kg European-specification curb weight, 1,655-liter maximum luggage capacity and a 2,820 mm wheelbase. McPherson front suspension, independent multi-link rear suspension and Brembo front braking hardware support the electric SUV's substantial performance, while its 7-seat layout gives the high-output powertrain a distinctly family-oriented purpose.
