The GV60 Sport Plus gave Genesis’s compact electric crossover a much sharper performance identity. Its smooth, coupe-like proportions and distinctive details set it apart from more conventional SUVs, while the electric powertrain made instant response part of its character. Rather than treating efficiency as the only reason to go electric, Genesis used the GV60 to show how an EV could combine luxury design with genuinely energetic driving.
For 2022–2026, the GV60 Sport Plus produced 483 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque from its dual-motor electric powertrain. A 77.4-kWh battery and all-wheel drive supported its performance-focused setup, with direct drive keeping power delivery immediate. The result was an EV that placed acceleration and driver engagement much closer to the center of its identity.
