The GV60 Sport showed Genesis taking a more expressive approach to the compact electric crossover, using a sleek silhouette and distinctive details to separate it from conventional SUVs. Its design gives the car a character of its own, while the quietness and instant response of electric power make the driving experience feel markedly different from Genesis’s combustion-powered models. The emphasis is not simply on efficiency, but on combining a stylish footprint with the immediacy expected from a modern EV.
For 2022–2026, the GV60 Sport used a 77.4-kWh battery with 316 hp and 446 lb-ft of torque. Dual-motor all-wheel drive and direct drive complete the powertrain, giving it strong response without a conventional multi-speed gearbox. This setup makes the Sport a more performance-oriented interpretation of the GV60 while retaining the refined character expected from a luxury electric crossover.
