The CUPRA Formentor VZ 2.0 TSI 4Drive 310 was conceived as a performance crossover, combining a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Producing 306 hp and 295 lb-ft, it reaches 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and continues to a 155-mph top speed. The AWD system helps translate that output into strong acceleration while the turbocharged engine gives the Formentor a distinctly performance-oriented identity.
Despite its pace, the 2020–2024 Formentor VZ remains a practical five-seat crossover, with up to 52.1 cubic feet of luggage space. Its MacPherson-strut front and multi-link rear suspension support the performance-focused setup, while the 19-inch tyres provide the necessary contact with the road. This combination makes the VZ 310 different from a conventional family SUV: it retains useful everyday space while placing its turbocharged engine, AWD system and rapid acceleration at the center of the driving experience.
