The CUPRA Formentor VZ5 returns with the character that made its predecessor unusual: a compact crossover powered by a turbocharged five-cylinder rather than a conventional four-cylinder unit. A 4.1-second 0–60 mph time and 174-mph top speed give the VZ5 the performance credentials of a much more focused machine, while its transverse engine layout preserves the compact crossover proportions.
