The Jesko Absolut takes a very different approach to Koenigsegg’s extreme-performance philosophy. Where the Jesko Attack emphasizes downforce and circuit ability, the Absolut reshapes the same basic idea around minimizing aerodynamic resistance. Its elongated tail, covered rear wheels and streamlined surfaces were developed specifically to let the car cut through the air at extreme velocity. The result is a machine whose visual drama comes from aerodynamic purpose rather than oversized wings, making the Absolut a particularly focused expression of Koenigsegg’s pursuit of top speed.
For 2023–2026, the Jesko Absolut uses a 5.1-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,600 hp on E85 and 1,280 hp on gasoline, with 1,106 lb-ft of maximum torque. A nine-speed Light Speed Transmission sends power to the rear wheels, while the car carries a remarkably low 0.278 Cd drag coefficient. Koenigsegg developed the package around a projected 310-mph top speed, although the manufacturer notes that the ultimate speed remains to be demonstrated.
