MSRP:$550,000 – $700,000
The McLaren 765LT Spider takes the Longtail philosophy into a more open and theatrical form, combining extreme performance with the freedom of a retractable roof. Its elongated bodywork, aggressive aerodynamic surfaces, low stance, and prominent rear wing give it a distinctly purposeful character, while the lightweight engineering behind the car keeps its focus firmly on responsiveness. Rather than simply creating an open version of a track-minded machine, McLaren shaped the Spider to retain the intensity and precision associated with the LT name while making the driving experience more immersive. It represents one of the most uncompromising expressions of the Super Series formula.
For 2021–2023, the 765LT Spider uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 755 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Its 7-speed transmission drives the rear wheels, helping the two-seat convertible reach 205 mph. With a 2.7-second 0–60 mph time, the Spider delivers extraordinary acceleration while its lightweight construction and double-wishbone suspension reinforce the sharp, driver-focused character expected from an LT model.
