The 2015–2016 McLaren 675LT is a more focused interpretation of the 650S, developed to bring greater intensity to McLaren’s Super Series without abandoning its road-going character. Its extended aerodynamic bodywork, compact proportions and aggressive stance give it a purposeful identity, while the rear-mid-engine layout and two-seat cabin keep the emphasis firmly on the driving experience. The LT name reflects a philosophy centered on sharper responses, reduced mass and a stronger connection between the car and the road.
A 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 666 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through a seven-speed transmission. It reaches 205 mph and accelerates from 0–60 mph in 2.8 seconds, giving the lightweight coupé extraordinary pace. At 2,928 pounds, its low curb weight further supports the car’s focused character. The combination of compact dimensions, immense V8 performance and rear-wheel-drive balance makes the 675LT one of the most distinctive versions of McLaren’s first-generation Super Series.
