The McLaren 765LT represents the most focused expression of the Super Series philosophy, taking the 720S foundation and pushing it toward greater lightness, sharper responses, and stronger aerodynamic performance. Its extended Longtail bodywork, prominent rear wing, aggressive front aero, and purposeful stance make its performance intentions unmistakable. Lightweight engineering is central to the car's character, while the carbon-fibre structure and track-focused development create a machine designed to feel exceptionally responsive on both demanding roads and circuits. The 765LT also carries forward McLaren's tradition of extracting remarkable performance from a relatively compact package.
For 2020–2023, the 765LT uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 755 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Its 7-speed transmission drives the rear wheels, helping the two-seat coupe reach 205 mph. A 2.7-second 0–60 mph time gives the 765LT extraordinary acceleration, while its 2,952-pound curb weight reinforces the lightweight philosophy behind the Longtail name.
