MSRP:$95,000 – $120,000
The 2021 Lotus Exige Sport 420 represents the ultimate performance-focused version of the Exige line, combining the model’s lightweight construction with its most powerful production engine. Its compact Sports Targa Top body, two-seat cabin, rear-mid engine placement, and rear-wheel-drive layout preserve the direct, focused character that defines the Exige. Instead of relying on a large or complicated platform, it delivers its performance through a carefully balanced combination of low weight, strong power, and a compact chassis.
A 3.5-liter supercharged V6 produces 420 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. With a curb weight of 2,447 lb, the Exige Sport 420 reaches 180 mph and accelerates from 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds. Double-wishbone suspension and vented disc brakes at both ends complement the powertrain, while the rear-mid layout and rear-wheel drive maintain the responsive handling character expected from a high-performance Lotus.
