The 2019–2021 Lotus Exige Sport 350 continues the lightweight Exige formula with a combination of compact dimensions, rear-mid engine placement, and a strongly driver-focused layout. Its Sports Targa Top body and two-seat configuration keep the car firmly in the lightweight sports-car category, while rear-wheel drive and a manual gearbox preserve the direct mechanical character associated with Lotus. The emphasis is not simply on outright power, but on creating a responsive package where the engine, chassis, and low mass work together.
A 3.5-liter supercharged V6 produces 345 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, sending power through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. With a curb weight of 2,480 lb, the Exige Sport 350 reaches 170 mph and accelerates from 0–60 mph in 3.8 seconds. Double-wishbone suspension and vented disc brakes front and rear complement the powertrain, reinforcing its focused performance character without compromising the lightweight philosophy at the heart of the Exige.
