The Ferrari Portofino is a grand tourer convertible powered by a bi-turbo 3.9-liter V8 producing 592 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque. Its front-mid-mounted longitudinal engine sends power to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission, delivering a 3.4-second 0–60 mph time and a 199-mph top speed. With a 3,668-pound curb weight and a 6.19 lb/hp power-to-weight ratio, the Portofino combines strong turbocharged performance with the versatility of an open-top four-seat Ferrari. The F154 BE engine uses DOHC valvetrain, four valves per cylinder and direct injection, with peak power at 7,500 rpm and peak torque at 3,000 rpm.
The 2018–2020 Portofino seats four and provides 10.3 ft³ of luggage space. Double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension support the chassis, while vented discs at both ends and 245/35R20 front and 285/35R20 rear tyres provide braking control and road contact. Measuring 180.6 inches long, 76.3 inches wide and 51.9 inches high, the convertible rides on a 105.1-inch wheelbase, with 64.3-inch front and 64.4-inch rear tracks. Its 21.1-gallon fuel tank supports a 464-mile total range, while the 22-mpg combined rating adds useful touring efficiency to the Portofino's performance-focused character.
