The 2015–2018 Lotus Exige Sport 380 pushed the familiar Exige formula toward greater speed while retaining the lightweight engineering that defines the marque. Its compact two-seat coupe body, rear-mid engine layout, and rear-wheel drive create a focused sports-car package where agility matters as much as acceleration. Rather than depending on sheer size or weight, the Sport 380 uses a powerful supercharged engine alongside a deliberately light structure, giving it the direct and responsive character expected from a Lotus.
A supercharged 3.5-liter V6 produces 375 hp and 302 lb-ft, paired with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. With a curb weight of 2,425 lb, it reaches 178 mph and accelerates from 0–60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The combination of substantial V6 output and low mass gives the Sport 380 its defining performance character, balancing strong straight-line acceleration with the agility expected from the Exige platform.
