The Smart #1 BRABUS brings high-performance electric power to the compact crossover SUV segment, combining a sporty character with the versatility of a five-door body. Its five-seat cabin and luggage capacity of 14.5 to 34.5 cubic feet support everyday passenger and cargo needs, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout delivers power to all four wheels. The BRABUS version pairs strong acceleration with a compact footprint, making it suitable for urban journeys as well as longer trips. Its electric powertrain and performance-oriented chassis distinguish it from conventional compact crossovers.
For the 2023–2026 model range, the Smart #1 BRABUS uses an all-electric powertrain producing 422 hp (315 kW) and 400 lb-ft of torque. A direct-drive transmission transfers power through the all-wheel-drive system, enabling a listed 0–60 mph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph. Its 62 kWh net-capacity battery provides a listed range of 248 miles, while combined efficiency is rated at 135.1 MPGe.
