2024 Aspark Owl SP600 Specs & Performance

The Aspark OWL SP600 was created to push electric hypercar performance beyond conventional production-car limits, evolving the OWL concept into a machine focused on outright speed. For 2024, Aspark developed the SP600 around four independently controlled electric motors, producing 1,953 hp and 1,920 Nm of torque through an all-wheel-drive system. Its low, aerodynamic body and 2,050 kg construction were engineered around high-speed stability, while the electric powertrain delivered enormous output without the need for a conventional multi-speed gearbox. The result was a machine capable of reaching a claimed 438.7 km/h, or 273 mph, during Aspark's 2024 testing.

The SP600's significance lies in its role as a technology and performance demonstrator rather than simply another powerful electric hypercar. Specially developed Bridgestone Potenza Race tires were used during the record attempt, while the car retained double-wishbone suspension, large ventilated disc brakes and a carbon-intensive lightweight construction philosophy. Its 64-kWh net battery and four-motor architecture show how Aspark approached the challenge from an engineering perspective: maximize instantaneous electric output while creating a platform capable of sustaining extreme speed. The SP600 therefore represents one of the most ambitious expressions of Aspark's OWL program and its pursuit of electric-hypercar performance records.
