Some plug-in hybrids are designed around performance first; the Seal U DM-i Boost takes a more efficiency-minded route. Its 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder works with a 145 kW electric motor, delivering 215 hp and 221 lb-ft through a front-wheel-drive system. A 105 mph top speed and 8.6-second 0–60 mph time provide adequate pace, while the 18.3 kWh Blade Battery allows up to 50 miles of electric driving in the published U.S. specification.

The 2024–2026 Boost is built around family practicality, with five seats, a 15–50.9 ft³ luggage area and a 4,277-pound curb weight. MacPherson struts at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear give the crossover a conventional chassis layout, while vented front and solid rear discs handle braking.
