The 2025–2026 Alpine A290 GT brings the brand's lightweight, driver-focused philosophy into the electric hot-hatch segment. Its 52-kWh battery powers a 180-bhp electric motor delivering 300 Nm, with the front-wheel-drive layout and instant electric response giving the compact five-door a lively character. A 7.4-second 0–100 km/h time and 160 km/h top speed provide enough performance for everyday driving, while the 19-inch wheels and Alpine-tuned chassis give it a more purposeful stance than an ordinary city hatchback.
The GT is also designed to remain useful beyond enthusiastic driving.
