2025–2026 BYD Sealion 7 Comfort Specs & Performance

Rather than chasing the dramatic acceleration of its AWD siblings, the Sealion 7 Comfort takes a more measured approach to electric SUV performance. Its single rear-mounted electric motor produces 308 hp and 280 lb-ft, sending power through a direct-drive system to the rear wheels. A 6.5-second 0–60 mph time and 133 mph top speed give it plenty of pace, while the 82.5 kWh battery provides a claimed 299-mile range.

The 2025–2026 Comfort is also shaped around everyday usability. Its five-seat cabin sits above a 520-liter luggage compartment that can expand to 1,789 liters, while double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension support the relatively substantial 4,905-pound curb weight. Nineteen-inch staggered tires, vented front discs and solid rear discs complete the chassis package. With 230 kW peak output and rear-wheel drive, this version gives the Sealion 7 lineup a distinctly different balance between efficiency, refinement and performance.
