The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé brought a relaxed, open-air character to the marque’s imposing flagship design. Its long bonnet, polished stainless-steel tonneau cover, and sweeping body lines gave the convertible a distinctive blend of formality and leisure. The four-seat cabin combined handcrafted finishes with an airy atmosphere when the roof was lowered, creating a more personal alternative to the Phantom saloon. Rather than chasing sports-car aggression, it made grand touring an occasion, with elegance and comfort at the centre of the experience.
Produced from 2007 to 2017, the Drophead Coupé featured a naturally aspirated 6.7-litre V12 delivering 454 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission sent power to the rear wheels, providing smooth, effortless acceleration. Its combination of substantial engine performance and open-top refinement made it a distinctive luxury convertible designed for memorable journeys rather than hurried travel.
