The SEAT Altea Freetrack gives the Altea’s compact-MPV layout a more rugged personality, with raised proportions, protective body cladding and a versatile five-door body designed for drivers who want more than an ordinary family people carrier. Its practical cabin and flexible luggage area make it suitable for everyday errands and longer trips, while the diesel engine’s strong low-rev pulling power suits relaxed cruising with passengers and luggage aboard. The Freetrack’s crossover-inspired styling adds visual toughness without sacrificing the usability that defines the Altea range.
The 2008–2010 SEAT Altea Freetrack 2.0 TDI PD 140 uses a 1,968 cc turbocharged four-cylinder diesel producing 138 hp at 4,000 rpm and 236 lb-ft of torque at 1,750 rpm. A six-speed manual gearbox manages the engine’s output, while the five-seat cabin offers 16–53.7 cubic feet of luggage capacity, depending on the seating configuration. These features give it a practical focus for family travel and everyday driving.
