The Afeela 1 was developed as a technology-focused electric fastback, bringing Sony’s expertise in digital entertainment together with Honda’s automotive engineering. Its design prioritises a quiet, connected cabin, with a wide display arrangement, an interactive personal agent and an extensive driver-assistance system. Rather than treating the car solely as transportation, Sony Honda Mobility envisioned it as an adaptable space where software, entertainment and mobility work together. The 2025–2026 model was planned in Origin and Signature trims, with the latter adding features such as 21-inch wheels and rear-seat entertainment displays.
Its dual-motor electric powertrain delivers 483 hp and 356 lb-ft of torque through an all-wheel-drive system. A 91-kWh battery was specified with a targeted range of up to 300 miles, while the estimated 0–60 mph time is 4.6 seconds. The cabin accommodates five occupants, and the car’s 27-cubic-foot luggage capacity adds everyday practicality to its technology-led character.
