The Ariel Nomad 2 takes the lightweight philosophy behind the original Nomad and turns it into a more capable, more sophisticated off-road performance machine. Built around a redesigned tubular chassis, it combines a minimal 715 kg footprint with a 2.3-liter turbocharged Ford EcoBoost engine producing 305 hp and 382 lb-ft of torque. That combination gives the Nomad 2 the pace of a serious sports car while retaining the open, rugged character that makes Ariel different from conventional performance-car manufacturers. Its rear-wheel-drive layout, six-speed manual gearbox and double-wishbone suspension at both ends keep the driving experience intensely mechanical.

For 2025–2026, the Nomad 2 represents Ariel's idea of a go-anywhere sports car rather than a conventional SUV or crossover.
