The 2025–2026 Land Rover Defender OCTA belongs to the second-generation Defender (L663) and represents the high-performance flagship of the modern Defender range. It uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 626 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Based on the Defender 110, the OCTA combines its powerful BMW-derived V8 with a specially developed 6D Dynamics suspension system, wider track, increased ride height, and strengthened chassis components.

The OCTA is engineered to deliver serious performance without sacrificing the Defender's off-road character.
