The 1999–2008 Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 Station Wagon is the long-wheelbase version of the classic Defender, using a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder diesel engine. The Td5 develops 120 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque, with a five-speed manual transmission and permanent all-wheel drive. Its five-door body and nine-seat configuration give the 110 considerable passenger-carrying ability, while the traditional chassis and solid-axle suspension preserve its rugged off-road character.
The 110's longer body makes this version especially useful when passenger space and load-carrying flexibility matter. Its diesel torque is delivered at low engine speed, helping the Defender cope with steep gradients, rough trails, and towing duties.
