The 2025–2026 MG HS Hybrid+ pairs a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four petrol engine with an electric motor, producing 221 hp and 251 lb-ft of combined torque. A two-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels, enabling 0–60 mph in 7.6 seconds and 0–62 mph in 7.9 seconds. Top speed reaches 118 mph, while the mild-hybrid system supports a claimed combined fuel economy of 42.7 mpg in US-market figures.
