The Triumph TR3 B represents the final development of the TR3 roadster, retaining the traditional British sports-car character while offering stronger performance. Its upright front grille, long bonnet and compact two-seat body give it a purposeful appearance, while the open cockpit and straightforward interior keep the focus on driving. The conventional front-mid-engine and rear-wheel-drive layout reflects the mechanical approach of classic British sports cars, combining simple engineering with an engaging open-top driving experience.
Built in 1962, the TR3 B uses a 2.1-litre naturally aspirated inline-four gasoline engine with an OHV valvetrain and carburetor fuel delivery. It produces 105 hp at 4,750 rpm and 127 lb-ft of torque at 3,350 rpm, paired with a four-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Its listed performance includes a 0–60 mph time of 9.6 seconds and a 110 mph top speed. With seating for two and 5.1 cubic feet of luggage capacity, it combines sporting performance with the practical proportions of a traditional roadster.
