The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph marked a new chapter for the marque, introducing a more contemporary luxury saloon while preserving its tradition of handcrafted refinement. Its smooth bodywork, formal grille, and understated proportions gave it a dignified appearance, while the carefully appointed cabin prioritized comfort for both driver and passengers. Developed during a period of change for Rolls-Royce, the Silver Seraph combined familiar British luxury with modern engineering, offering a quieter, more understated alternative to the brand’s earlier angular saloons.
For 1998–2002, the Silver Seraph featured a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V12 producing 322 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sent power to the rear wheels, delivering smooth acceleration suited to relaxed touring. With a listed top speed of 140 mph, it balanced substantial performance with the composed road manners expected of a flagship luxury saloon.
