Built for drivers seeking strong V8 performance with luxury-sedan comfort and all-weather capability, the Cadillac STS 4.6 V8 AWD used a naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 321 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel-drive sedan paired the engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and reached 155 mph, with a 6.0-second 0–60 mph time. Its combination of V8 power, all-wheel drive and a refined luxury-sedan platform gave it a confident performance-focused character, while its listed combined economy was 16.7 mpg.
The 2008–2010 Cadillac STS 4.6 V8 AWD featured a four-door, five-seat large sedan layout with 16.4 ft³ of luggage space. At 4,039 pounds, it measured 196.3 inches long with a 116.4-inch wheelbase and used a 17.4-gallon fuel tank, with a listed driving range of 290 miles.
