The Maybach 57 Zeppelin represented an exceptionally exclusive interpretation of Maybach’s flagship luxury sedan, combining immense proportions with an intensely refined four-seat cabin. Its imposing exterior and lavish interior emphasized exclusivity and rear-passenger comfort, while the Zeppelin designation marked it out as one of the most special versions in the 57 range. Beneath the formal bodywork, a powerful front-mounted V12 and rear-wheel-drive layout gave this substantial limousine remarkable performance to complement its extraordinary luxury.
The 2009–2010 Maybach 57 Zeppelin uses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 producing 631 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 4.7 seconds and 0–62 mph taking 4.9 seconds. Top speed reaches 171 mph, giving the 57 Zeppelin an exceptional combination of limousine comfort, exclusivity and high-speed performance.
