The Maybach 57 S represented the final and most powerful evolution of the 57, combining extraordinary limousine luxury with substantially stronger performance. Its imposing proportions, four-seat cabin and lavish interior maintained the model’s focus on rear-passenger comfort, while the S designation gave it a distinctly more performance-oriented character. Beneath the formal exterior, a front-mounted twin-turbocharged V12 and rear-wheel-drive layout provided the immense power needed to move this substantial luxury sedan with remarkable ease.
The 2010–2013 Maybach 57 S uses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 producing 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 4.7 seconds and 0–62 mph taking 4.9 seconds. Top speed reaches 171 mph, giving the 57 S an exceptional combination of limousine comfort, exclusivity and high-speed performance.
