The Morgan 3 Wheeler is a deliberate escape from the refinement and complexity of modern motoring. Its exposed front wheels, narrow body, separate headlamps, and motorcycle-style front engine give it the unmistakable look of a machine built around mechanical theatre rather than convenience. Inspired by Morgan's early three-wheeled vehicles, the modern version revives a characterful formula with a lightweight chassis and an open cockpit that puts the driver close to the sights, sounds, and sensations of the road. Every journey becomes an event, making the 3 Wheeler less a conventional car than a playful celebration of driving in its most elemental form.
For 2012–2021, the 3 Wheeler uses a 2.0-liter V-twin engine producing 82 hp and 103 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual transmission drives the single rear wheel, giving this lightweight roadster a top speed of 115 mph. Its two-seat, open-air layout and low 1,157-pound weight emphasize the simple, direct driving experience that defines this unusual Morgan.
