The 2017–2019 Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.0 Si4 290 is part of the first-generation Discovery Sport (L550), powered by a 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-four petrol engine. The engine produces 286 hp (290 PS) and 295 lb-ft of torque, with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. With a five-door body and seven-seat configuration, this version combines strong petrol performance with the practical flexibility expected from the Discovery Sport.
The Si4 290 is one of the sportier petrol variants of the early Discovery Sport lineup, delivering a 0–60 mph time of 6.5 seconds and a 142-mph top speed. At the same time, its AWD system, seven-seat cabin, and compact-SUV dimensions retain the model's family-oriented versatility. The 2.0-liter engine's 400 Nm of torque also gives it useful flexibility for everyday driving and longer journeys.
