The McLaren 600LT pushed the Sports Series toward a more focused interpretation of the road-going supercar, drawing inspiration from the brand's Longtail tradition to create something sharper and more purposeful than the standard 570S. Its defining character comes from a combination of lightweight construction, aggressive aerodynamic detailing, and the distinctive top-exit exhausts that visually reinforce its track-oriented intent. The extended bodywork and low, purposeful stance give the 600LT a presence that feels more motorsport-inspired than conventional grand touring, while its compact proportions preserve the agility expected from a McLaren built around driver involvement.
For 2018–2021, the 600LT uses a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Power reaches the rear wheels through a 7-speed transmission, giving the two-seat coupe a 204 mph top speed. Its 2.8-second 0–60 mph acceleration and 2,989-pound curb weight underline the lightweight performance philosophy that defines the Longtail name.
