The 2019–2020 McLaren Senna GTR takes the extreme character of the Senna and pushes it firmly toward track-focused performance. Its enormous aerodynamic surfaces, low-slung stance and stripped-back two-seat cabin leave little doubt about its purpose, while the rear-mid-engine layout keeps the car centered around outright driving performance. Unlike a conventional road-going supercar, the Senna GTR feels shaped by the demands of a circuit, where aerodynamic efficiency, low mass and rapid response matter more than everyday comfort.
A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 814 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed transmission. The result is a 205 mph top speed and a remarkable 0–60 mph time of 2.7 seconds. At just 2,840 pounds, the car combines its immense power with a lightweight construction that further sharpens its performance. Double-wishbone suspension at both ends completes the focused chassis, making the Senna GTR one of McLaren’s most uncompromising modern track-oriented machines.
