The Pagani Huayra R strips the hypercar formula back to its most visceral elements, creating a machine intended exclusively for the racetrack rather than public roads. Inspired by endurance prototypes from the 1960s and 1970s, its dramatic bodywork combines sculptural curves with extensive aerodynamic detailing. Limited to just 30 examples, this highly exclusive creation reflects Pagani's philosophy of treating engineering as both a technical discipline and an art form. Its bespoke construction and uncompromising purpose distinguish it from the road-going Huayra family.
At its heart is a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 developed with HWA, producing 838 bhp and delivering an intensely engaging power delivery. A six-speed sequential gearbox sends power to the rear wheels, while the lightweight carbon-based chassis and sophisticated suspension are engineered for demanding circuit driving. The absence of turbocharging gives the engine a character distinct from the road-going Huayra's forced-induction powertrain. The result is a track-focused hypercar built around mechanical immediacy, high-revving performance and an unmistakable naturally aspirated soundtrack.
