The Pagani Huayra Roadster transforms the marque's sculptural hypercar design into an open-top experience, revealing the intricate engineering and craftsmanship usually concealed beneath a fixed roof. Its flowing bodywork, distinctive gullwing-style door arrangement and carefully integrated aerodynamic features preserve the dramatic identity of the Huayra while bringing the surrounding environment into the driving experience. Unveiled in 2017 after six years of development, the Roadster was produced in a limited run of 100 examples, reflecting Pagani's emphasis on exclusivity and painstaking construction.
Power comes from a Mercedes-AMG-developed 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 producing 754 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed automated manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels, combining rapid gear changes with the character of a traditional high-performance powertrain. The result is a roadster capable of reaching 224 mph while retaining the bespoke detailing and carefully engineered chassis that distinguish Pagani's creations. Rather than simply removing the roof from a coupé, the Huayra Roadster was developed as a distinct expression of open-air hypercar performance.
