1994–1996 Tatra 613 - 4Mi Specs & Performance

The Tatra 613-4 Mi represents a distinctive chapter in Czech luxury-car engineering, retaining the model’s unusual rear-engine layout while adopting electronic fuel injection and a more modern specification. Its air-cooled V8 sits behind the passenger compartment, sending power to the rear wheels rather than following the conventional front-engine arrangement used by most executive saloons. A spacious four-door cabin accommodates five occupants, while the understated exterior conceals a technically unusual powertrain developed from Tatra’s long-running V8 tradition.

The naturally aspirated 3,495 cc V8 produces 197 hp at 5,750 rpm and 221 lb·ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. Its DOHC design and multi-point fuel injection distinguish this version from earlier carburetted 613 models. A five-speed manual gearbox completes the rear-wheel-drive package. Produced during 1994–1996, the 4Mi combined traditional Tatra engineering with updated engine management and executive-car performance.
