Built for extreme performance, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport used a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 gasoline engine producing 987 hp and 922 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel-drive roadster paired the engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission and reached a top speed of 253 mph, with a 2.6-second 0–60 mph time. Its combination of immense W16 power, all-wheel drive, and advanced chassis engineering gave the Veyron Grand Sport exceptional acceleration and high-speed capability, while its listed combined fuel economy was 9.4 mpg.
The 2009–2015 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport featured a two-seat supercar roadster layout with 1.3 ft³ of luggage space. Double-wishbone suspension at both ends and ventilated disc brakes supported its high-performance chassis setup. At 4,387 pounds, it measured 175.7 inches long with a 106.7-inch wheelbase and used a 26.4-gallon fuel tank.
