The Maybach 62 Landaulet was one of the most exclusive expressions of Maybach’s ultra-luxury philosophy, combining the enormous proportions of the 62 with an unusual open-air rear passenger compartment. Its four-seat cabin was designed around first-class levels of comfort, while the distinctive roof configuration gave rear passengers an experience rarely offered in a luxury limousine. Beneath its formal styling, a powerful front-mounted V12 and rear-wheel-drive layout provided effortless performance despite the car’s substantial size.
The 2010–2013 Maybach 62 Landaulet uses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 producing 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 5.0 seconds and 0–62 mph taking 5.2 seconds. Top speed reaches 155 mph, giving the Landaulet an exceptional combination of limousine luxury, exclusivity and effortless performance.
