The 2010–2013 Maybach 62 represented the ultimate expression of Maybach’s traditional approach to luxury, combining enormous proportions with a cabin designed around exceptional rear-passenger comfort. Its long-wheelbase body, four-seat configuration and richly appointed interior gave it the presence of a true flagship limousine, while the restrained exterior styling emphasized elegance rather than aggression. Beneath the imposing bodywork, a front-mounted V12 and rear-wheel-drive layout provided the effortless performance expected from such a substantial luxury sedan.
The 2010–2013 Maybach 62 uses a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V12 producing 542 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 5.2 seconds and 0–62 mph taking 5.4 seconds. Top speed reaches 155 mph, giving the Maybach 62 an impressive balance of limousine comfort, immense refinement and effortless high-speed performance.
